The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission has increased the retail price of a 12kg liquefied petroleum gas cylinder by Tk223, setting the November price at Tk2,060.
The revised rate took effect at 8pm on Monday, November 2, replacing the previous price of Tk1,837. The adjustment applies nationwide, including Dhaka.
Autogas prices have also increased, rising from Tk84.62 to Tk91.95 per litre. Prices for other LPG cylinder sizes have been revised accordingly.
The new retail rates include value-added tax and will remain in force until further notice. The increase follows another price hike in October, when the cost of a 12kg cylinder rose by Tk252.
